Hello 🙂

As mentioned on the site address, I will answer the question Who is Görkem Koç? on this page.

I took my first breath in 1997. I was born and raised in Eskişehir. Before I knew it, I had started school. Those 7 years shouldn’t have passed so easily.

When I started first grade, our class teacher said that our classroom should have a computer. Even though the parents with kids in the class weren’t thrilled, a certain amount of money was collected, and that computer was purchased. I guess because I already knew how to read and write before starting school, my teacher gave me the responsibility of managing that computer.

Even though I had never used a computer before, my interest sparked the moment I touched the keyboard. First love 🧡. My interest never faded after that. Soon enough, I’d convince my family to get a computer at home for studying, of course. Didn’t we all do that? 🙂

While my friends were playing games on their computers, I was trying to figure out how those games worked. Even though it was challenging, at least it was fun.

During middle school, I laid a basic foundation in programming with simple projects in C# and HTML. I knew it would be useful in the future 🙂

I took my first steps in web development with tr.gg and Wix. For a curious kid at that age, I think it was a good start. Even though I don’t use them now, I believe I learned a lot from them. Later, I got to know WordPress. Second love 🧡

When we launched a technology news site called Teknoliste, my job was to get the site to rank high on Google. That’s when I discovered SEO. My love for research kicked in again. I immediately got books to learn the general SEO terms and criteria. I started following SEO blogs.

In general, technology and science have always been my focus. It seems like they will continue to be for the rest of my life, as I’m a graduate of Computer Education and Instructional Technology. My hobbies include IoT, electronics, photography, and literature.

So, that’s who I am. On this site, you will find my personal thoughts under the category Tıkırtılar and information about the technologies I closely follow. I hope you stay tuned..

Experience is the most expensive thing. Because you can’t buy it with any amount of money.
